Church Camp in Country Heights

I just went to Young Adult Camp which organised by SIBKL (church) for 3 days 2 nights in Country Heights, Kajang, KL. It costs RM 150. The purpose of this camp is to learn and understand more about God.

The place is filled with greenery scenery and there are many lakes. However, the water in the lakes are contaminated as it looks like "teh tarik' or like Klang river. Haha... There were lots of people joining this camp including new member like me (I was invited to join this camp by my lovely person).

We have games on the first day. We were divided into 10 groups. I was in group 8. My team consists mostly girls. We were given our very first task to name our group choosing Malaysian food. J was our team leader. He is a very good English speaker (but he is a 'banana') and has a powerful voice. He create a poem for our team as follows:
We are fast
We are hot
Losers we are not
We are Malaysian
We are truly Asia
We are Nasi Pataya
So we named our team as Nasi Pataya. Actually Nasi Pataya is not Malaysian food, is Thai. Haha... After that, we need to do some action while reading out poem. There were team named as Cha Kuew Teow, Penang Laksa, etc...

I remember that one of the games is require us to use our body to do alphabets for the word- AWAKENING. Below is a picture of me doing alphabet 'A'. We were the first to complete all the tasks so we considered to be number 1. However, this will be accumulated as points for second day.

At night, we sang songs about God. We also did some action. Haha... Look at the picture below.

After that, pastor Victor gave us a sermon. It relates to our life to Moses's story. This story is when God chose Moses to do tasks but Moses kept avoiding it by giving all excuses. So in our actual life, we always kept avoiding God when He assigned us a job such as spreading good news about God.

On the second day, there were games such as human boggle, passing balloons, passing worms and egg york (it's fear factor for those afraid of worms), using mouth to search fake centipedes in the flour and another game like 老鹰抓小鸡. It's really exciting and interesting. They took the whole group picture. Look below.

At night, we had a forum session. This forum is to discuss questions that we don't understand about God.

On the last day, pastor Victor gave us a talk about our death. Planning our death may sound like it is too scary, right? Haha...

Before we had our last lunch together, we took pictures according to our own groups. By the way, my team emerged as 1st runner up. My team mates were energetic and there was team spirits so that's why we could win. Haha.... Anyway, I'm happy to know them and be their team mates. Hopefully they still remembered me after this camp. I may not attend SIBKL Church because I always go to Trinity Methodist Church. Anyway, wish them best of luck in their jobs and studies.
