One Year Older-Ah Gor

ST and I planned this special occasion for KS. Our initial plan was to have a singing session with him but he just lost his tooth so not able to talk much.

Changing the plan to just a normal birthday celebration was the only choice. Sushi Zanmai was the chosen location and together with QY, KY and CF to join this celebration on 19th June (Sunday). We were surprised that the person who lost his tooth could talk so much. Aiya.. We should go Redbox in the first place. Haha..

Last time I remembered that all the staff in the restaurant sang birthday song to him. All the customers were curious who is the birthday boy. Haha.. KS was shy and surprised. We laughed throughout the lunch.

After lunch, we watched movie-Green Lantern. This is my second time but in different form. No 3D this time. Hehe.. 

ST and I bought a polo shirt for KS. Hope he likes it and we look forward to seeing him wearing in our next outing!! =) Once again, Happy Birthday, Ah Gor!! One year older, one year wiser ya!! Haha..

College Mates Gathering

It has been sometime for not having a gathering with my college mates. Last Friday (17-June) was the gathering night at Dick, Tom & Harry at TTDI. I like the pub name.. (Just realised our venue is a PUB!!GOSH!!) Haha..

Only a few of us attended on that day-JL, YN, WL, Phoebe, PT and me. Phoebe and WL brought their beloved BF and introduced to us. These two couples are sweet and cute.. ^^ We are lucky to have PT to join us as she came from Bintulu for vacation.

This was the best time catching up with each other about your works, activities and life (including love affairs..hehe.. :p). Most of them are involving in auditing line with the famous BIG FOUR accounting firms. Hearing most of their complaints are having the uncooperative clients whom are not willing to provide documents by giving all sort of excuses. This delays make the auditors working stressful as they have their deadline of submission the audited accounts. No wonder auditors have to make their working place as their homes. Why the clients aren't putting their thoughts on the auditor's shoe? In my opinion, I think the auditor should set a deadline to clients for the submission of documents. If they didnt meet the deadline, then should not rushing auditor to prepare the audited report. Hmm.. I wonder whether the accounting firm from other countries will they have such a problem?

On that night, I ordered a cocktail, Long Island. I should say this is the bitterness drink that I've ever drank. Haha.. My regret for not ordering the juice or perhaps, beer. Haha.. However, this drink alerted me the whole night. 

After dinner, JL, YN, PT and I went for a 3D movie-Green Lantern at Tropicana Mall. Oh... I'll be watching this again on Sunday. Hehe.. Just a quick summary about Green Lantern. A human being was chosen by the ring to be Green Lantern Superhero to fight against villain, Parallax. This human being, Hal Jordan's biggest weakness is his FEAR which the evil could absorb FEAR to gain more power. With his determination and courage, he defeated Parallax by saving our Earth. (The ending is expected : Superhero always win at the end) However, there will be a continuous movie-Green Lantern-Part 2 as the Sinestro wore the Yellow Ring (Power of Fear).

JL fetched me back after the movie. On the way home, we shared our memories about Le Chateau, used-to-be a clubhouse at my place. There was swimming pool, gym room, small theatre, karoake k and so forth. I spent most of my time with my brother especially in the swimming pool. It's quite a pity that the place has been deserted and like a haunted place. Hopefully the clubhouse is alive again!!

Hmm.. Look forward to our next gathering.. Dunno when.. but hope this time there will be more members joining in.. ^^

The Young Artist

A girl was practising her reading during English class. Everyone was listening except a teen boy busy scribbling with his pen. The teacher spotted him and started walking towards his table. 

The teacher was about to scold him for not paying attention but something was caught on his eyes. A beautiful scenery was drawn on a piece of tissue paper. The teacher took the tissue paper gracefully and examine carefully. He asked, "Did you draw this?" The boy nodded. The teacher gave his smile and said, "Wow.. You could draw this for just a few minutes and turn out like a master piece. This is amazing!" 

God gives everyone a talent. This boy got his. Do you get yours? I'm still searching it.. Those who are not able to find it and remember this saying verse, "Ask you will be given, seek you shall find n knock on the door will be opened." Do you know who to ask? Answer is GOD.

Beloved Mum

This time I'm going to express my feelings to another person. I love this person very much. This person is my beloved mum.


When I was a little kid, I was a slow learner. My dad is impatient and always punished me. My mum was willing to sacrifice her time to teach me patiently. Actually, I'm not good in numberings but surprisingly I'm an accountant now. For this achievement, I've to thank both of my parents.


My mum is not only a dedicated teacher, she is a good advisor. Whenever I've problems, I will know who I will discuss with. To me, she is a best friend and we always share our secrets.


Besides, I could say she is a doctor too (although she is not a qualified doctor). Whenever I fell sick, she always take care of me. She even familiar with the prescription of medicine from doctor.


Cooking is her expert field. I'm lucky to taste the delicious food from her especially her fry fish. She evens know sewing. Holes are found in clothes and we know who can mend for us. Haha..


My mum has a pair of wonderful hands. Not only cooking and sewing, she also likes planting fruits and flowers. My little garden is bear with fruits (eg, sugarcane, banana, seedless papaya and pineapple) and beautiful flowers (eg, Orchid, Jasmine, etc).


Happy Birthday, Mummy. Hope you always be happy and healthy. You are the BEST Mummy. Also, Happy Mother's Day!! Muaks... ^^

Happenings in Feb and Mar

Hello, my readers.. My blog has been quiet for sometime as I'm struggling to find time writing my story. Here it goes............. Chinese New Year was celebrated in February. Chinese traditional culture is not exceptional in Rabbit year. The different is the absence from my brother who went to National Service camp in Sandakan. For the first time, my primary schoolmates organised house visiting to our teacher, Ms Wong. She has been retired from teaching and always travel around the world. She shared her experiences and life stories. We enjoyed listening to it. =) I met my company's boss from Netherlands. He is friendly and funny too. We have a Chinese New Year dinner at Royal China Restaurant. It seems that this CNY dinner is his first time especially the Yee Sang event. We sang karaoke k and have a splendid moment! My brother came back from NS in March. He is fit and darker. His hair has been keeping short.. (not nearly botak la..) One of the stories that he shared was the Commando threw a surprised birthday celebration to him together with his NS friends. He was touched. Our big brother, Sandro, is a March baby.. Haha.. He is one year older now.. We sang birthday song and cutting cake. Here comes to farewell part. Mok and Pris left our "family". Mok and I joined this company together and I didnt expect her to leave so soon.. Pretty sad of course.. Although we are no longer being a colleague, we are still friends. I miss both of them. Wishing them-best of luck. =). Oh yeah..We have a new member, Nicole. Welcome her to join us. ^^ That's the summary for the two months.. Haha.. Good night..

Journey in 2010

Here comes another year. Happy New Year 2011, everyone!!!

What stay bad last year, let it be. A new year is a fresh year to begin with. Do let me take you a walk to my story in 2010.

JANUARY

Begin with second day of the new year. Peter Parker's birthday was the first celebration for the year at Room 18, Times Square. Having lunch with Serena, Nycostin, Ah Gor, KSheng, Ykee, MC, SF and Kenny.


Another celebration of January birthdays for Serena and Nycostin on 16th at Chilies, Mid Valley. Pretty big portion of meals but the price is beautiful too.. Haha.. ^^

After the celebration, I've another gathering-college mates. Pretty miss them.. Luckily the event was held at Mid Valley. We went to watch "Cirque de Freak". Dinner was at Flying Chilies. Ha! Such a coincidence with the word, "Chilies". Not too hot for me please.. Haha..

FEBRUARY

Chinese New Year season.. Celebrated Charine and Simon birthdays and concurrence to have company annual dinner at Zuan Yuan Restaurant, One Utama on 11th. Makan time everyone!! XD

Made a visit to Dong Chan Si on 21st as the place was full of CNY decoration. They had painting and book exhibition. It was crowded.

MARCH

A good news from my bro whose team emerged Champion under-17 and he was one of the top 10 players. This was his last year of taking part in t.tennis competition for that category. The competition venue was held at Confusion High School on 17th. ^^ Congraz to my bro.

APRIL

Pretty busy with classes at night and sometimes during weekends. On 10th, I went out drinking with Ah Gor and QY. Just three of us at Chui Chui Sui as others like to play fly kite. Haha.. Although just 3 of us, we could chat everything like no walls between us. It was an enjoyable night. ^^

On 12th, my boss brought us to try Chicken Hor Fun at PJ Old Town. Wow.. I didnt go there since I was Form 5. I was there for tuition. It brought back memories for knowing a few good friends and wonder how is their life now.. We have lost touch since then. >.<>

MAY

It was my stressful month. Studying and studying due to exam was next month. Pretty tiresome.. Worries for my closest family member.. praying and praying..

JUNE

Phew..what's a relieve after exam week. Yippy.. Immediately, I went to watch "Shrek 3" with YH and her sis at GSC, Mid Valley on 11th. I like the green babies..so cute.. ^^

SUKMA event started from 14th for table tennis. My parents and I went to UTEM,Malacca to support my bro and his team. This could be my last chance to watch it. I saw my batch of friends playing in the field. Reminded the days where I play in the court.

Almost half year for not seeing my dear friend, Cynde. We hang-out on 19th. Her interest is same with me.. Movie maniac.. Haha.. She recommended the sparkling juice in Nando which i started loving it. Haha.. On the same day, I have two cute kids-Elliot and Evan visited us. They are my nephews. Teaching them how to play table tennis..

Ninja Jones was the chosen place for the celebration of Ah Gor's birthday on 20th. The place is decorated with Japanese Samurai weapon and culture. We took a photo with Toy Story's Characters. Next, watching the movie "Karate Kid" with the co-star, Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith.

JULY

Celebrated July's birthday in office with Arasi, Hong CY and ME on 1st!!! Haha..

After leaving from primary school for years, finally there was a gathering on 17th at Sushi Zanmai. Although it was a few of us, a lot things to chat.. ^^ Last time we were just a girl and now grown up like an adult. They threw a surprised on me-a birthday cake.. wow.. XD

18th is a special number. Haha.. Yeah, the day I was born in this world. Thanks to God who provided me a good family and friends. I'm really lucky to have them. My ah gor and best buddy organised this event specially for me.. (touching.. hehe..) Manhattan Fish Market was the place of our lunch and then we went for a movie. At night, my ah gor brought us to I-City.

AUGUST

Another group of colleagues birthdays fall in August. This time my boss gave us a treat at TGI Friday at One Utama on 4th. The staff provided some interesting activities for birthdays person. They need to stand on the chair and sing. Haha.. But we didnt do that, just have a speech. =) So coincidence.. Their names of 1st letter could form into a word-> A-R-E

SEPTEMBER

Hari Raya holidays fell on this month. I went Genting with my group of secondary school mates on 10th. It's a one day trip. Most of them were eager to collect Green Packets from Uncle Lim. Luck was not on their side. Instead, Uncle Lim was the collector!

Hiking with colleagues for the first time at Broga Hill on 25th. My boss brought his pro-camera to capture the sun rise. Too bad.. The sky was cloudy and we just walked back. Yet, I still enjoyed going there with Angela, Carole, Mr Lim, Hong CY, Foong, Foong's bro and Mr Tan.

OCTOBER

This was a toughest month. My mum undergo a surgery at Hospital KL. Everyone was worried her. Supportive and praying hard are the most important. My family was relieved and happy when we heard the good news. Now, my mum is still recovering and it takes a longer time to heal the wounds. My prayer has been answered.. Thank you, Lord. ^^

23rd was a wedding day but not mine.. Hoho.. I have two colleagues' weddings having the ceremonies on the same day! Chinese wedding was in the lunch whereas the Indian wedding was at night. After wedding lunch, we have a practise session on singing at Green Box, One Utama. hehe.. Congratulation to Ashley and Arasi.. Changing the title from "Miss" to "Mrs".. XD

Working life started changing from 28th. Totally new environment for me to experience in works and colleagues. Joining this company is enjoyable and learning along the way. Small company is like we are in a family. Looking forward to learn more and having fun.. ^^ Gambateh!!

On 30th, I went Genting again but this time with my primary school mates. We chose that day because it was a Halloween Day. Listening to song and drinking beer at night.

NOVEMBER

Festival of Sport took place in S'pore Sport School from 5th to 7th. It was held by YMCA of S'pore and it was my first visiting in S'pore. Pretty sure you know which type of game I played with. Haha.. I met a few nice friends especially a girl named Jia Jia. I like to tease her as Jian Jian. (Of course, she also teased me back but I wont tell you la) Hehe.. 3 days 2 nights seems to be not enough fun for me. Definitely I will visit S'pore again!!

DECEMBER

YMCAKL provided a dinner on 8th as a reward to every players for bringing back the Champion trophy. Hurray.. The food is delicious in Oriental Restaurant. Too bad that I didn't capture a photo to post here, otherwise the photo makes you feel hungry. Haha..

Listening to the comedy stories in Zouk Club on 9th. A lot of young adults went there to relax their mind after having a stressful workload. It was lucky for me and a few colleagues to meet the celebrity like Harif Iskandar.



Celebration of birthday who was born on 25th in 2000 years ago. The person is Jesus. Christmas ambience was every where especially the beautiful decoration in Shopping Malls. My first gift was a bracelet from my colleague. Thanks to my colleagues for holding a small Christmas party in the office on 15th. ^^

Hmm.. Looks like this is the ending of my story in 2010. Looking forward to the excitement year in 2011. See you guys then.. ^^
